 کم کم لکھنے کی وجہ میری گھریلو مصروفیات ہیں، اللہ نے مجھے دو پیاری سی پھول جیسی بیٹیوں سے نوازا ہے تو ان کی تعلیم و تربیت میں مجھے خصوصی دلچسپی ہے، بڑی بیٹی تو ماشاء اللہ سے یونیورسٹی کی طالبہ ہے لیکن چھوٹی بیٹی مثال کی ابھی ابتدائی تعلیم کا آغاز ہوا ہے اس لیے میری زیادہ توجہ اس پر مرکوز ہے، بڑی بیٹی کی طرح اسے بھی میں خود ہی پڑھاتی ہوں ۔ اس کے ساتھ تمام گھریلو امور کی انجام وہی میرے ہاتھوں ہی پایہ تکمیل کو پہنچتی ہے، اس لیے لکھنے کا وقت تھوڑا کم ہی ملتا ہے لیکن جب بھی فرصت میسر آتی ہے کچھ نہ کچھ لکھ ہی لیتی ہوں۔ بالکل درست، ظاہر ہے بچوں کی تربیت تو آپ کی اولین ذمے داری ہے) پاکیزہ چلیں آپ کے قلم کے آغاز کی بات کرتے ہیں کب احساس ہوا کہ آپ اچھا تحریر کر سکتی ہیں۔ مطلب خوش خط نہیں بلکہ موثر و با مقصد ؟ نبیلہ ابر راجا : بہت شرمندگی کے ساتھ بتا رہی ہوں کہ مجھے آج تک کبھی ایسا نہیں لگا کہ میں اچھا یا موثر لکھ سکتی ہوں، اپنی ہر تحریر کو تنقیدی نگاہ سے دیکھوں تو بہت ساری خامیاں دکھائی دیتی ہیں، آنے والے وقت میں شاید مجھے بھی نہ بھی احساس ہو کہ میں نے اچھا لکھا اور قارئین تک بھی میرا پیغام موثر انداز میں پہنچا لیکن فی الوقت یہ دعوی نہیں کر سکتی۔ لیکن کچھ تحریریں ایسی ضرور ہیں جنہیں لکھنے کے بعد مجھے احساس ہوا کہ ہاں مجھے اس پر قلم اٹھانا چاہیے تھا، مثال کے طور پر دو انچ کی چوڑی ، عجب مسافر دشت تھے، اب دل کو بھی سمجھاتا ہے، پاکیزہ میں چھنے والا ایک افسانہ درد، ڈیڑھ ریال کی نیکی، بھید بھری زندگی، میرا چین میری عید ہیں، ناول نا تمام تلی کے رنگ اتر گئے ، کون سے آنسو اس کے تھے، اور افسانہ یہ کیسی عید ہے

Nabila Abar Raja The reason I write less and less is because of my domestic commitments. Allah has blessed me with two lovely flower-like daughters, so I am special in their education and training. My daughter has just started her primary education, so my focus is on her, like my elder daughter, I am teaching her myself. With this, all the household affairs are completed by me, so I get little time to write but whenever I get free time I write something. Right, of course your primary responsibility is raising children). Pakeezah let's talk about the beginning of your pen when did you realize that you can write well. Meaning not a happy letter but effective and purposeful? Nabila Abar Raja: I am very ashamed to say that I have never felt that I can write well or effectively. I may not realize that I have written well, and my message has reached the readers effectively but….can't claim it at the moment. But there are definitely some texts which after writing I realized that yes I should have picked up a pen on it, for example “Do Inch Ki Chori”, “Ajab Masafar Dasht thay”. “Ab Dil ko bhi samjhana hai”, “Pain”, “Dhair riyal ki naiki”. “Bhaid bhari zindagi”,”Mera bachpan meri eidain”, “Novel na tamam”, and “Titli kay rang utar gaye”,”Konsay ansoo us kay thay” and afsana “yeh kaisi eid hai” were published in Pakeezah digest.
