He was the author of over 200 novels, short stories, and plays. His works include a wide range of themes, including social issues, human emotions, and spirituality. Some of his most famous works include Ambar, Naag & Maria, Tahly Thallay (TV serial), and Ainak Wala Jin (1993) (A TV serial for children). He received the Pride of Performance Award from the President of Pakistan in 1997.
