Abdul Hameed (1928-2011), known by his pen name A. Hameed, was a prominent Pakistani Urdu language fiction writer and novelist, short story writer and playwright. He was the author of over 200 novels, short stories, and plays. His works include a wide range of themes, including social issues, human emotions, and spirituality. Some of his most famous works include Ambar, Naag & Maria, Tahly Thallay (TV serial), and Ainak Wala Jin (1993) (A TV serial for children). He received the Pride of Performance Award from the President of Pakistan in 1997.

The novels story revolves around travel to America from Pakistan. Garcia had said that I will definitely come to Pakistan to meet you.  After returning from America, she met me for the first time in Pakistan near a railway bridge in Lahore.  She smiled at me.  She was wearing the same 18th century dress.  He had a red handkerchief in his hand.  He waved the handkerchief.  She was far away from me.  I heard her hello and then she disappeared.  Disappeared because Garcia was a mysterious eighteenth-century spirit I first saw in person in an old derelict house in Baltimore between Washington and New York.  It has been four years.  I did not see Garcia anywhere in Lahore after that.  Karachi, Islamabad was also my destination, but I did not see Garcia anywhere.  Meanwhile, my friend Mohammad Khalil wrote a letter from New York that Khawaja Sahib is sending the ticket.  Take a tour of New York.  It's been a while since I met you.  Khalil belongs to a respectable family of Sialkot and is a US green card holder and has lived in New York for a long time.  America's tube stations, stores, wide streets, high-rise buildings and falling snow came to my mind and I decided to go to New York.  I got the visa easily.  What happened next in the novels' story.
