The novel story revolves around a girl Meher Sami. As she is a simple girl who prays five times a day, fasts in the month of Ramadan, always does a deed essential for Islam, doesn't lie, and considers love a waste of time. She is proud that her prayers are always listened to by ALLAH. Meanwhile, her friends got jealous of her religious views, trying to change her modest views. Life takes a turn when she gets involved with a boy. It is the transformation of a girl from good to bad, not for betterment but the transformation of the soul towards bad.

The drink in the glass on the dining table in front of me suddenly turned dark. There were traces of my lipstick on the edges of the glass. One could guess that my lips were beautiful by running a finger over these marks or just by looking at them. The ice cubes in the drink were now very small. In a few moments they would also dissolve. Disappearing into the dark drink just as I was, the laughing man sitting at the end of the table to my left was my husband and the one I wanted most in the world. His white face was red from laughing, and he was wearing a white shirt and “D&G” aftershave was permeating his being and he had a “Gucci” watch on his wrist and fried chicken on his plate. A slice and lemon sprite in her glass, and I was always in my heart. Someone took off my blindfold and I didn't even have to blink to see properly, everything was visible. It looked clean.
